Payton at home!

We have been home for a couple weeks now, and Payton is already starting to show her personality. She has become a lot more aware of the world and definitely likes the constant attention of mom and dad. Here are some cute pics that auntie Chrissy took...enjoy!

Martta did us a great favor and took a bunch of pictures of Payton, Mom, Dad, and friends. She is doing great and has been sleeping almost 100% of the time so far....but apparently night 2 is the tough night...so wish us luck!

PAYTON HANNAH is HERE!!!!

Well, yesterday we were all ready to enjoy the annual kick-off dinner for my company, when Jackie started feeling something "brewing". Her water broke at about 12:45 yesterday, we made it to the hospital by about 2:00 and had a baby by 8:04!!! Payton Hannah weighed in at 6 pounds 14 ounces and 21 inches tall. Her and mom are both doing great with no concerns at all. We are so happy for this new blessing in our family. God really is great and the miracle of birth was an amazing event for both Jackie and I. We hope that visitors might be able to come by Sunday (today) but we will let you know.

New Ultrasound!!!

We got an additional ultrasound....the Dr. wanted to check out the baby and everything is GREAT! All her measurements exactly line up with her 1/31/09 due date! We got to see her move around and she was a lot more photogenic this time around. We were a bit unsure (99% sure) of the sex after the first ultrasound, but this one left no confusion...clearly a girl! This shows a profile of her, and we can see her eyes, nose, and mouth.

Nursery is ready!

Proud Grandfather Garry did a wonderful job of painting a Peter-Pan themed Mural. We are very proud of his work and wanted to show everyone what he created for the baby.
